Tom Marino was born & raised in Winchester. He has been a parishioner at Sacred Heart since he was born, attending Sacred Heart of Jesus parish in downtown Winchester back in the day. His involvement in youth ministry began with WorkCamp 2010 when he was asked to volunteer as a crew leader and has been hooked ever since. Father Krempa asked him to be the Director of Youth Ministry at Sacred Heart in 2012 and he has led countless WorkCamps as our stakeholder and a crew leader as well as fun outings, trips and local activities with our middle and high school youth at Sacred Heart. His favorite foods are locally grown fruits & veggies. He enjoys spending time with his dad and friends and playing Ultimate Frisbee with our youth. Tom won’t mention this, but he was nominated by parishioners at Sacred Heart & received the Excellence in Youth Ministry, Traveling Companion of Young People award in 2016 through the Office of Youth, Campus and Young Adult Ministry in the Diocese of Arlington.

Pam Plasberg has been married to Chris since 1997 and they have 2 sons, Ian & Jared. They have been parishioners at Sacred Heart since 1999, when they moved to Winchester and made it their home. Pam has been volunteering in Youth Ministry since her life changing experience chaperoning the Papal Pilgrimage in 2015 in Philadelphia with the Diocese of Arlington. Her favorite food is mushrooms and she enjoys homemade pizza and curry (but not together). She enjoys praying daily Mass at Sacred Heart, riding her bike, cooking with her family & reading when she is not volunteering in Youth Ministry.

Chris Ricketts moved to Winchester in Aug of 2008 after spending 8 years as a trumpet player in the United States Marine Drum and Bugle Corps. He’s been married to Laura since 2003 and they have four kids. Chris is a vocalist and when we’re not in the middle of a pandemic, sings with the Master Singers of Virginia. He is passionate about bringing more beauty to the liturgy through music, and currently directs the schola and polyphonic choir for the Latin Mass at Sacred Heart of Jesus. (He is always looking for more singers) Chris works at the parish as the director of Summer At Sacred Heart, teaching music at Sacred Heart Academy, and now helping coordinate activities for the high school and young adult Cor Team. His favorite food is pizza (best is from New Jersey!) and in the rare occasion he isn’t at the church, he likes to hang out with the family and his dog, Rusty.
